ORGANISATION

Missions

The services offered by the General Directorate cover various fields:

  • As far as personnel is concerned, the General Directorate of Support and Management is in charge of the recruitment, the selection, the management of careers, statutes, litigations and internal communication towards the personnel of the integrated police services.

  • As for material means, this general directorate is responsible for the management of the logistic means, the management and supply of equipment (collective and individual: basic equipment and general and specific function equipment) for the Federal Police and, on demand, for the Local Police, as well as for the management of infrastructure put at disposal of the Federal Police.

  • In addition, the General Directorate of Support and Management manages all the technical aspects of the IT systems, databases and police networks through its Directorate of Telematics

  • The finance management (budget-accountancy and accounts) as well as the preparation and the awarding of public procurement contracts for the purpose of the integrated police are also part of the tasks of this general directorate.

  • This general directorate also carries out a mission of prevention, protection and well-being at work and is in charge of a medical service.
