Directorate of Recruitment and Selection
Missions
The missions of the Directorate of Recruitment and Selection, entrusted by or in accordance with the law to the Federal Police, are to recruit and select staff members for the police services.
The recruitment and selection procedures are defined for the purpose of the Local Police as well as for the Federal Police and are applied to all the operational or civilian (administrative and logic) staff members.

- of operational staff (assistant staff, basic staff, specialized middle staff and officers) ;
- of civilian staff (selection of statutory or contractual personnel of A, B, C and D level).
- Internal selections within the framework of promotion by accession to a higher level / category of staff:
- for the operational (basic staff, middle staff, officers and certificate of director [assessment]) and civilian staff.
- Special selections:
- Level tests, language tests, etc.
