Mission The Federal Police Air Support Unit provides specialised support to the police services and so makes it possible to develop police functions in a better and more efficient way. This unit performs missions in different fields. These missions include: Dealing with events such as traffic jams, chain collisions, plane crashes, crowd gatherings, major sport events, etc. Searching for missing people or lost objects. Pursuing and intercepting suspects. Searching for and/or recording offences (illegal waste disposal, unlawful dumping, clandestine laboratories, etc.). Protecting people and goods (transfer of funds, VIP’s, etc.). Sending out video images from fixed or mobile installations.
