Organisation Organisation chart Staff The Dog Support Unit consists of an operational division and a training division: The operational division sends out specialized dog teams at the request of judicial authorities and local and federal police services. This division also provides a minimum of dog teams 24 hours a day outside normal office hours. The training division, as the name leads one to suspect, is responsible for the training of all police dogs and handlers of the federal police. As far as the training of the local police dog teams is concerned, the trainers of the Dog Support Unit provide the training of all patrol dog teams through the police schools.
