The National Security Plan Service is in charge of preparing, organising, co-ordinating and providing support for the integrated policy cycle of the National Security Plan (planning – follow-up – evaluation).

The service organises, co-ordinates and offers support for the preparation of the general policy documents regarding the budget and especially the Federal Police’s note regarding the general policy and the integrated functioning. It carries out the same tasks in order to draw up the annual report closing the management cycle.

Finally, the National Security Plan service co-ordinates scientific research projects.
