2010 promises to become a very intensive year for Belgium: from July until December, the honour confers upon our country to be the president of the Council of the European Union. This means that the integrated Police as well, is heading for an extraordinary active summer and autumn. We consider this as a challenge to which we look forward with pleasure. Convinced by the huge potential which lies hidden in the approaching presidency, our organisation wishes to furnish an essential contribution in order to lead this ambitious event in all its aspects towards a successful upshot.
Belgium will succeed Spain and will precede Hungary in the so called trio presidency. You will probably understand that we are keen on launching this site at the same moment that the trio presidency is being marked by our Spanish colleagues.
The helpfulness from the police towards you, the citizen, is a value which we consider of paramount importance.
